Restoration and digitalization of audio records represent a concrete contribution to enhancement and preservation of past and present heritage.
Italian National Sound Archive actuated, in this field, the digital conversion of audio and video material coming from Central Asian heritage.
This is a master plan budding from the cooperation with University of Sapienza-CIRPS and aims to the achievenment of online archives containing restored audio and visual files from the area at issue.
In collaboration with Uzbekistan's National Archive (Uzarchiv), the accomplishment is foreseen of stages and training actions focused on the creation of a wide international digital sound archive et al.
