strumento musicaleLong necked spike fiddle with a spherical sounding board. Its also called Kamanche, referring to its bow (kaman), and Rabab. Its long fretless neck passes through the sounding board, becoming a spike used to lay the instrument while playing. At the beginnings provided with 3 silk strings, nowadays the gidjak counts 4 metallic strings. The sounding board it is often covered with parchment.
